Who we are

We are a small, family owned business in the heart of downtown Whitefish, Montana with a passion for gorgeous blooms and thoughtfully curated design.  We are a girl gang of creatives ranging from photographers, to designers, calligraphers, bakers, artists, production managers, gardeners, decorators, and organizers with a fondness for good coffee and infectious laughter.  We pride ourselves in collaborating as a team and bouncing ideas off one another to refine the best creative vision for each client.

why the name Mum's weddings?

Since we originated as a brick and mortar store (Mum's Floral & Home) and quickly expanded into wedding florals and design, we wanted to give our brides easy access to information for their wedding.  Offering floral design, event coordination, rentals, and styling we consider ourselves to be a multi-faceted team that can provide anything you need to make your wedding day perfect.  It's still the same brand you know and love!

Tyler Nicole Burfeind, Wedding Consultant

I have always appreciated the beauty and love of two people being joined together by marriage; surrounded by their closest family and friends. I consider myself a hopeless romantic and still tear up at beautifully written wedding vows. My background in photography has taught me to appreciate the smallest of details - from the way ribbon cascades down a bridal bouquet to a perfectly placed garden rose. I joined the Mum's team in 2013 and haven't looked back. The most rewarding part of my job is learning about my couples, their story and helping them choose blooms that reflect the very core of their style, personality and relationship.

In my spare time, you can find me and my husband trying a new gourmet recipe or spending a beautiful day in Glacier National Park with our 2 children.
